The New York sneaker store Extra Butter joined forces with Reebok to create the 2016 Extra Butter x New York Islanders x Ventilator Supreme 'Dynasty' shoe, which commemorates the New York Islanders' inaugural NHL season at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The upper of the shoe is made from high-quality suede and perforated leather, featuring the iconic Islanders colors of blue, orange, and white. In honor of the franchise's remarkable achievement of winning four consecutive Stanley Cups, the heels are adorned with embroidery that reads '80 81' and '82 83', while the Reebok side-logo boasts 3M reflective accents. Moreover, the shoe pays homage to the team's esteemed coach, Al Arbour, and his impressive tally of 740 wins with the Islanders, with a special tribute found on the inside of the tongue.
