The collaboration between Parley and adidas, known as the Parley x UltraBoost 'Deep Ocean Blue', stands as adidas' official shoe for the Run for the Oceans campaign in 2018. As part of this campaign, the shoes are constructed using plastic bottles collected from coastal communities and beaches, making them a sustainable choice. Taking inspiration from the Mariana Trench, which is considered the deepest part of the sea, this iteration showcases a near-black colorway. The Primeknit upper of the shoe is made up of 85% recycled Parley Ocean Plastic, equivalent to eleven plastic bottles.
