The collaboration between Concepts, a retailer based in Boston, and ASICS has resulted in a uniquely designed sneaker called the Concepts x ASICS Gel Lyte 3 ‘Otoro’. This sneaker draws inspiration from Japanese cuisine, particularly the prized and fatty cut of tuna known as Otoro. The sneaker features a split-tongue construction, making it easy to slip on, and is crafted with a layered suede upper in various shades of pink. Adding a touch of branding, the Concepts wordmark appears on the lateral heel of the right shoe. The sockliner showcases a custom graphic, showcasing Japanese-inspired artwork, while also displaying both ASICS and Concepts logos.
