The collaboration between streetwear retailer Bodega and Vans resulted in the release of the Old Skool LX 'Sub Rosa' sneaker. This stylish footwear was introduced as part of the Sub Rosa four-pack during the ComplexCon event in November 2017, accompanied by a customized box and calendar. Drawing inspiration from the concept of secrecy, symbolized by the Latin phrase "Sub Rosa" and its roots in an Ancient Greek myth, the shoe boasts a black canvas upper adorned with a striking red rose print. To further enhance its design, the model showcases a distinctive Garnet Red leather jazz-stripe and black suede detailing on the toe, eyestay, and heel. The aesthetic is completed by the presence of a unique black vulcanized midsole featuring a refreshing green foxing stripe.
