In 2017, Major DC, a sneaker and streetwear boutique located in Washington, D.C., collaborated with Reebok to create a special edition of the Reebok Ventilator. This unique sneaker drew inspiration from the iconic jerseys of the Washington Capitals during the 1970s and 1980s. The upper of the Major x Washington Capitals x Ventilator is crafted with China Red leather and suede, complemented by Vital Blue leather accents and white mesh underlays, perfectly capturing the vintage jersey colors. Adding to its distinctive design, star detailing is incorporated on the toe, while the Washington Capitals logo is subtly placed beneath the icy blue translucent outsole. To further showcase its connection to the NHL, the league's logo is prominently displayed on the heel, and the insole features a print of a majestic bald eagle.
