The collaboration between musician Kendrick Lamar and Reebok with designer Ian Paley from Garbstore resulted in the creation of the 'Split Personality' edition of the Reebok Classic Leather for the summer of 2016. This version, available in grade-school sizes, maintains the same premium Skull Grey suede upper, Off-White midsole, and gum rubber outsole as the adult model. However, Lamar's message of unity between the Bloods and the Crips is represented through the red accents on the left shoe and the royal blue accents on the right shoe. The distinctive split design also includes stitched seams that run down the middle of each shoe, creating a neutral-colored middle section on the medial side. The sneaker showcases Reebok logo patches on the lateral side, with the lettering mainly whited out, apart from the 'k' for Kendrick, offering a final touch to this unique design.
