The Zoom Rookie LWP, designed by Penny Hardaway and launched in 2011, draws inspiration from Hardaway's previous popular models - the Air Go LWP and the Air Flight One. This exclusive 2012 colorway of the sneaker was a collaboration between Sneaker magazine and online blog Sole Collector, in partnership with Nike. It was made available for purchase only through a link in Sole Collector's iPad Issue 11. The shoe showcases a black nubuck upper with mesh detailing on the throat, while the Foamposite overlay boasts a galaxy-themed graphic, from which the shoe gets its name. The tongue and heel feature distinctive 'Remove Before Flight' tags, and the underfoot features a luminous translucent outsole that glows in the dark.
