The collaboration between Nike and CLOT, the streetwear brand co-founded by Edison Chen and Kevin Poon, made its debut during Paris Fashion Week. This collaboration resulted in the release of three different colorways, one of which is the 'Royal Red' version. Launched in May 2019, this shoe is a hybrid design that takes inspiration from the strapped caged design of the 1999 Nike Air Zoom Haven for its upper, while its sole incorporates the full-length visible Air-Sole unit from the iconic Air Max 97. To complete its aesthetic, the sneaker features a contrasting gum rubber outsole.
