Hiroshi Fujiwara, the founder of fragment design, played a significant role in the creation of the Nike Sock Dart. Back in 2000, Tinker Hatfield, the shoe's designer, showed Fujiwara an early prototype, and he provided valuable and enthusiastic feedback. This collaboration led to the launch of the final version of the shoe under the HTM imprint in 2004. However, it took another ten years for a collaboration between fragment design and Nike to materialize. In 2014, one of the notable releases from this collaboration was the Fragment Design x Sock Dart 'Dark Loden,' which featured a sleek design and came in four different colorways.
