In a collaborative effort, UNheardof and Anonymous joined forces with Nike SB to create a special edition Dunk SB two-pack in December 2015. Paying homage to the Cincinnati Reds' victory over the Oakland A's in the 1990 World Series, the design of the Dunk High Pro SB 'Oakland Athletics' draws inspiration from this historic event. Featuring a rich combination of Stadium Green and Speed Yellow suede on the upper, the sneaker boasts a white mesh tongue and a perforated leather toe box. Additionally, it is adorned with an embroidered US flag patch on the lateral heel for added detail. Unfortunately, shortly after the initial launch at UNheardof and Anonymous, the MLB intervened by sending a cease-and-desist letter, preventing the wider release of these exclusive sneakers at select Nike SB accounts.
