Japanese deconstructionist Jun Takahashi has revitalized the Nike Daybreak silhouette with his latest release under the Undercover label in 2019. In the Undercover x Daybreak 'Blue Jay', a combination of nylon and suede overlays form the upper. The shoe boasts a distinctive grey heel piece accompanied by a futuristic plastic detail with a speckled design that seamlessly extends to the foam sole. The rubber outsole of the shoe, adorned with Undercover branding, remains faithful to the iconic splayed tread pattern of the original 1979 Daybreak.
