The CLOT x Nike Cortez ‘Forrest Gump’ is the final installment in a trilogy of collaborations that revolves around a modernized version of the classic running shoe. Designed by Edison Chen, this pair combines the iconic style of the original 1972 Cortez with elements from the shoe worn by Tom Hanks in the movie 'Forrest Gump'. Inspired by house shoes, the base design features a white leather upper with striking scarlet accents. The iconic Swoosh, as well as the tongue tags and heel tabs, are co-branded and adorned with Chinese characters that translate to 'Kung Fu'. The shoe is fastened with drawcord lacing and boasts a distinctive blue Swoosh on the lower half, while the herringbone-traction rubber outsole provides excellent grip.
