This upgraded version showcases a more resilient leather upper, a lower cut fit around the ankle for enhanced comfort, and improved cushioning on the sole. In addition to this release, a nylon and suede variation of the same colorway made a comeback in the summer of 2015, while NikeLab introduced a meticulously authentic reproduction of the original 1972 model in September 2015.
