This Quickstrike colorway is a special edition that honors Kenny Moore, a renowned long-distance runner who also served as a product tester for Bill Bowerman, one of the co-founders of Nike. Inspired by one of Bowerman's handmade Cortez prototypes, the shoe boasts a white leather upper adorned with a handwritten 'MOORE' on the side panels. Additionally, the heel showcases debossed Nike branding, while the midsole flaunts a unique combination of Off-White and Terra Orange hues. The Cortez 'Kenny Moore Collection', which debuted in August 2017, also included other colorways such as 'Varsity Royal' and 'Tour Yellow'.
