The Nike Air Zoom Flight 96 ‘Allen Iverson’ was an unofficial tribute to the basketball legend, Allen Iverson. Unfortunately, Nike decided to cancel the release of this shoe shortly after it became available in 2014. The design of the shoe featured a color scheme inspired by the Philadelphia 76ers, with a standout Game Royal upper and midsole. Additionally, to pay homage to Iverson, the heel of the shoe displayed his jersey number, 3. The cancellation of the shoe was a result of objections raised by Iverson's legal team, who cited his existing partnership with Reebok as the reason for their concerns.
