The collaboration between Nike and London-based designer Martine Rose resulted in the release of the Martine Rose x Air Monarch IV ‘Triple Black’ in January 2019. This partnership brought together both apparel and footwear, showcasing Rose’s unique interpretation of the Monarch design. By incorporating PU inserts underneath the synthetic leather upper, the shoe's shape and proportions were given a playful twist. The sleek all-black color scheme, which included the Air-infused midsole, added to the essential and stylish aesthetic of the collaboration.
