Inspired by this concept, Hatfield decided to showcase the Air unit on the innovative Air Max 1 sneaker. The resultant creation, the 'Centre Pompidou by Day' edition of the original 1987 sneaker, pays homage to this inspiration. The upper of the shoe features a combination of suede and leather, adorned with red, yellow, and green accents that mirror the external piping of the iconic Parisian landmark. Furthermore, the translucent sole is adorned with a vibrant multicolored pattern and a prominent 'P' emblem.
