Originally known as the shoe worn by Scottie Pippen, the Air Maestro 2 gained popularity and was redesigned by Kith in the summer of 2017. This new version features an extended ankle strap, asymmetrical lacing, and a zipper enclosure. The black colorway pays homage to the original Air Maestro's color scheme, with white accents and Swoosh logos on the sides and toe box. The updated Air Maestro 2 Limited Black was made available at select retailers in May 2018, shortly after the release of the Rush Orange variant.
