Taking inspiration from the snug fit of a water-ski boot, the initial Air Huarache was created in 1991 by Nike designer Tinker Hatfield. It featured a slip-on neoprene collar and an exoskeleton saddle that provided excellent support and comfort for the foot. Presenting a reimagined version of the original, the Nike Air Huarache Run Ultra 'Cargo Khaki' maintains its lightweight appearance and feel while incorporating some notable updates. Crafted with an earth-toned leather upper complemented by fine-mesh panels, this modern iteration introduces a stretchy heel strap and fused synthetic skins, offering a fresh twist on the timeless running silhouette.
