The Tokyo Design Studio x New Balance 574 ‘Nimbus Cloud Classic Burgundy’ takes on a minimalist approach and modernizes the retro runner with updated features. Available exclusively at New Balance’s T-House concept store in Japan, the TDS team takes inspiration from the ‘60s Trackster model and adorns the sneaker with a white mesh upper. While the iconic ‘N’ logo is absent, the leather saddle, suede overlays, and external heel counter are still present for a touch of retro charm. Adding a pop of color, the New Balance branding is printed on a burgundy leather heel tab. To ensure optimal traction, the shoe is equipped with a Vibram ripple outsole.
