The Mountfield SPZL 'Cardboard' sneaker was created by adidas creative consultant Gary Aspden, taking inspiration from UK musician Gary 'Mani' Mountfield's love for the Three-Stripes brand's outdoor shoes. Released in September 2015, this sneaker combines elements from previous trail models. Its water repellent leather upper, complemented by suede overlays, ensures durability and protection from the elements. Additionally, the shoe features an EVA foam midsole and high-traction rubber outsole, providing both comfort and functionality for a rugged outdoor experience.
