In December 2015, Public School (PSNY), a renowned New York fashion label, introduced their first Air Jordan collaboration to the public, unveiling the PSNY x Air Jordan 12 Retro sneakers. Alongside these sneakers, PSNY designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborn also released a 7-piece apparel collection. These unique sneakers differed from regular Air Jordan 12s with their leather-aligned insole and grey hangtags, and were packaged in an all black Air Jordan 11 box. Building on the success of the grey 'PSNY' release, PSNY later introduced 'Wheat,' 'Olive,' and 'Bordeaux' iterations in June 2017.
