Originally released in 1997, the Air Jordan 12 Retro 'Obsidian' in its grade-school version from 2012 showcases an upper made of Obsidian tumbled leather complemented by white pebbled leather overlays. Notably, this iteration also highlights University Blue branding, a French Blue lining and heel tab, and a white rubber sole equipped with a carbon fiber shank and Zoom Air technology.
