The J.W. Anderson x Run Star Hike 'White' is a collaboration between designer Jonathan Anderson and Converse, which was first showcased during Anderson's London runway show in September 2018. This shoe combines elements from the classic Converse Chuck Taylor with the injection-molded tooling found in the vintage Converse Run Star. It features a stacked midsole, a sawtooth tread pattern on the outsole for better grip, and a print of '1917' next to the iconic All Star patch on the canvas upper. This reference to the birth year of the Chuck Taylor adds a historical touch to the design.
