To commemorate its fifth anniversary, DOE, a streetwear boutique based in Shanghai, has collaborated with Converse to create a special collection that combines art and fashion. This limited edition capsule collection, launched in March 2019, includes two revered Converse classics. One of these is the DOE x Jack Purcell Ox 'Be Formless' sneaker, which draws inspiration from the profound Eastern philosophy of emptying the mind and embracing formlessness. This unique interpretation of the iconic Jack Purcell silhouette incorporates a distinct geometric design featuring a cube pattern with the DOE logo, reminiscent of the revered 20th-century art movement known as Suprematism. The integration of metal eyelets and a wood grain print on the sockliner adds aesthetic depth to the shoe, while the translucent graphic outsole delivers an eye-catching touch.
