Carnival, a sneaker boutique based in Bangkok, has collaborated with ASICS to pay tribute to Thailand's national combat sport through a unique version of the Gel DS OG. Revealed in June 2019, this special edition sneaker, known as the 'Muay Thai' sneaker, features a mesh inner sleeve, suede overlays, and a branded leather backstay. The symbolic colors associated with Muay Thai are showcased on the iconic tiger stripes, tongue tag, and upper lace support. Additionally, the cushioned midsole reveals a vibrant Duosole that serves as a final homage to the ancient martial art.
