The Kith x ASICS Gel Lyte 5 ‘Salmon Toe’ was released as part of the New York retailer's 10th anniversary celebrations. Initially, it was offered to individuals who participated in a Zoom panel hosted by Ronnie Fieg in November 2021. This exclusive offer was extended to individuals who owned the original Gel Lyte 3 ‘Salmon Toe,’ ‘Salmon Toe 2.0,’ or ‘Leather Back.’ The Gel Lyte 5 features the iconic navy and pink color scheme, with a pigskin suede upper that showcases a perforated toe box and white synthetic leather side stripes. On the heel overlay, you can find the embossed ‘KXTH’ logo, while the mismatched ASICS and Fieg branding is embroidered on each tongue. For a comfortable and smooth ride, the shoe is equipped with a white EVA midsole that contains Gel cushioning in the heel.
