The ASICS Gel Lyte 5 '8-Ball' collaboration with Concepts, a retailer in Cambridge, draws inspiration from the release of George Jung, a Bostonian known as the basis for the movie Blow, in June 2014. Jung had been incarcerated for almost two decades due to his involvement in cocaine smuggling. This special edition shoe showcases an Off-White suede upper complemented by a two-tone white and blood red sole. As a follow-up, Concepts introduced the ASICS Gel Respector 'Coca' colorway in December 2015.
