Prior to his collaboration with Kith, Ronnie Fieg was already renowned for designing exclusive ASICS sneakers for David Z, a popular New York retailer. One notable creation was the GEL-Lyte III Solid Gold edition, which boasted a striking metallic gold finish on its leather upper. To add visual contrast, black accents were incorporated on the sockliner, laces, and midsole. In commemoration of David Z's 25th anniversary in 2007, the collection also included a silver iteration.
