In the year 2017, Nike introduced the Air Max 97 with a refreshed design known as the Ultra '17. This particular version boasted a combination of obsidian and royal blue colors in its seamless jacquard knit and synthetic upper. The royal blue hue was cleverly used to highlight a single wavy stripe on the upper. As for the midsole, it was kept a clean white color, complemented by a full-length visible Air cushioning system. To round off the overall aesthetic, an obsidian outsole was chosen to perfectly match the rest of the shoe.
