March 26th, 1987 marked the birth of the Air Max 1, a shoe model that has come to define the Swoosh brand. Nike enthusiasts all over the world eagerly anticipate Air Max Day each year to pay homage to this legendary lineage. However, in 2019, sneaker connoisseurs were in for an extra treat as Nike decided to extend the celebration to an entire month. Throughout March, Nike released a series of classic silhouettes featuring a 'Throwback Future' retro colorway. Not to be left out, the kids' version of the Air Max 270 'Throwback Future' was also introduced, showcasing a dazzling, iridescent palette reminiscent of a futuristic era, all complemented by the renowned 270 degree Air technology.
