Inspired by the Paris Pompidou Centre, renowned architect-turned sneaker designer, Tinker Hatfield, took cues from the innovative structure to design the iconic 1987 Air Max 1. Following the footsteps of the museum's exposed interior, he incorporated visible Max Air cushioning in the heel of the shoe. In 2014, the Essential 'Euro Release' version of this sneaker was introduced as part of the coveted 'Suede Pack'. It showcases a stylish Pro Green upper complemented by a contrasting Sail sole. Moreover, the inclusion of a gum rubber tread adds a touch of vintage nostalgia to the overall design.
