The adidas Consortium and Boston boutique Concepts have teamed up to create the Concept x EQT Support 93/16 'Lufthansa Heist'. This sneaker draws inspiration from the infamous 1978 Lufthansa Heist at JFK airport, which was famously depicted in the movie Goodfellas. The upper of the shoe features a combination of black suede and nylon, complemented by black 3-Stripe ribbons on the lateral side. The unique color-blocking of the shoe includes contrasting white overlays and 3-Stripe ribbons on the medial side. Additional details include a multi-color adidas EQT logo on the heel, co-branded tongues, a white Boost midsole, Money Green Torsion bar, and a black Continental rubber outsole. The collaboration was released in September 2017 alongside the Concepts x EQT Support 93/16 'Blue Room', which was inspired by the robbery of Boston's Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Both sneakers were exclusive to Concepts and adidas Consortium and were limited to just 1000 pairs.
