In May 2017, adidas and Parley for the Oceans extended their partnership from the summer of 2016 by releasing the Ultra Boost 3.0. This environmentally conscious sneaker showcases a revamped weave upper that is made from 11 plastic bottles that were retrieved from the ocean. To further highlight their collaboration, the tongue tag of the sneaker is branded with the Parley logo. The vibrant aquatic blue colorway serves as a visual reminder of Parley's mission to combat marine pollution and encourages others to join in reducing environmental harm.
