The OAMC x adidas Type 06 ‘Core Black’ is a collaboration between Luke Meier’s menswear label and adidas, offering a fusion of vintage tech-inspired elements and contemporary sneaker style. In terms of design, the upper is made from a combination of black textile and tonal overlays in nubuck, suede, and leather. To provide a secure fit, the traditional laces are accompanied by a toggle cord lock. Drawing inspiration from the ZX franchise, the shoe features a molded TPU heel counter and an EVA midsole. The midsole is reinforced by adidas’ signature Torsion bar, while the rubber outsole offers enhanced traction.
