In 2018, Brooklyn Ballet celebrated their contemporary adaptation of ‘The Nutcracker’ by collaborating with adidas on a limited edition sneaker known as the adidas AM4 ‘Hi-Res Red’. This unique design showcases a bonded and fused upper, drawing inspiration from the vibrant graffiti-style tutus worn by ballerinas. The sneaker boasts performance-oriented elements such as a SPEEDFACTORY Torsion bar, ensuring flexibility, tension patches for an adaptable fit, and a responsive Boost midsole. Notably, each pair comes with an embedded NFC chip in the tongue, allowing for authentication.
