The adidas NMD R2 is the second model in the NMD series. It was first introduced during Paris Fashion Week in Summer 2016 as part of the adidas Originals x White Mountaineering SS17 collection. The NMD R2 retains several key features from its predecessor but also includes a few variations. The shoe still boasts a full-length boost midsole, although it no longer has the foam inserts on the sides that were present in the NMD R1. One of the exclusive colorways for women is the Linen, Linen and Running White version, which showcases a light pink mesh upper and white leather accents on the heel. The shoe also features a soft pink pull tab and a matching foam insert on the inside. Notably, the adidas logo is embossed in leather on the tongue, and the heel pull tab displays the NMD branding in four different languages.
