The adidas NMD, which was initially introduced by adidas in 2016, received a positive response due to its contemporary design and successful incorporation of Boost and Primeknit technology. Presenting a more refined version of the original, the NMD R2 'Collegiate Burgundy' by adidas features a sleeker silhouette. Despite retaining the Boost sole, the bulky midsole components from the previous NMD models have been eliminated, resulting in a more streamlined appearance. To further enhance its aesthetic appeal, the sneaker incorporates premium leather accents on the heel overlay and the branding on the tongue.
