Drawing inspiration from the vibrant culture and aesthetics of East Africa, the NMD Human Race Trail in the captivating Solar Pack was unveiled in August 2018 in collaboration between Pharrell and adidas. Paying homage to the region's rich heritage, the shoe boasts a Primeknit upper adorned with a harmonious fusion of grey, black, and teal tones, artfully complemented by the striking presence of orange rope laces and a distinctive molded purple lace-cage. Adding an exquisite touch, each shoe features Swahili phrases, 'MIELE' (meaning forever) and 'MBELE' (representing forward), inscribed in alphanumeric script on the vamp, symbolizing a powerful sense of enduring and progressing ahead.
