The S-97 shoe was first introduced in 1997 as a part of adidas' EQT line. However, it gained a fresh new look through the collaborative effort of Kith and FYW in the form of the 'Peach Purple' sneaker. This revamped version was released in March 2019, showcasing a blend of leather, mesh, and suede materials in its upper design, adorned with adidas and Kith branding. The goal of adidas developers was to develop a shoe that could replicate the natural movement of a runner. To achieve this, the shoe's midsole incorporates Torsion technology, allowing for seamless and fluid strides.
