In June 2017, adidas launched the Ace 17+ Cleat in collaboration with renowned New York City retailer, Kith. This special edition soccer footwear formed part of a soccer-themed collection that was cleverly divided into distinct groups, with each group drawing inspiration from Kith-affiliated soccer clubs. The design of the Ace 17+ Cleat specifically paid homage to the Miami Flamingos, featuring a laceless Primeknit upper in a striking navy hue. To provide enhanced grip, the upper was overlaid with Controlskin. Adding a touch of contrast, the toe area was dipped in a vibrant pink color, creating a visually appealing design element.
