In a collaborative effort between Vans and the Van Gogh Museum, a special edition shoe was introduced to pay tribute to the renowned post-impressionist artist Vincent van Gogh from the 19th century. Drawing inspiration from Van Gogh's well-known work, the Skull (1887), this low-top shoe showcases a skull design printed on the canvas upper along with excerpts of text from Van Gogh's personal letters. Retaining Vans' iconic slip-on style, the shoe also features a black midsole liner. Notably, a part of the earnings generated from this initiative is being channeled towards the preservation of Van Gogh's estate by the Van Gogh Museum.
