To celebrate the holiday season, Durant sported a special Christmas edition of the KD 4 during a game against the Orlando Magic in 2011. This festive shoe showcases a Metallic Bronze upper, complemented by black accents and perforated detailing on the strap. It also comes with an extra set of red laces and includes Christmas-themed KD branding on the insole, inspired by traditional cookies associated with the joyful occasion.
