The collaboration between Ken Griffey Jr. and Nike brings forth the Ken Griffey Jr. x Nike Air VaporMax Plus ‘Spider-Man Catch’ sneaker, featuring a symbolic insole graphic showcasing the number ’24’ trapped within a teal-colored spider web. The number ’24’ pays homage to Ken Griffey Jr.’s legendary jersey number, while the spider web design represents the iconic web gem he accomplished in 1991. The upper part of the shoe showcases a blend of a white mesh base with black TPU overlays, complemented by exposed red stitching and a pull tab in Fresh Water, a color combination that gives a nod to Ken Griffey Jr.’s original signature shoe. Not only does this shoe boast a stylish design, but it also provides excellent lightweight cushioning, courtesy of Nike’s renowned full-length VaporMax unit.
