The sneaker creations developed from the Nike: On Air contest winners, which were announced in May 2018, were finally launched in April 2019. Among the winners was Londoner Jasmine Lasode, who designed the Air Max 97 'On Air: London Summer Of Love' sneaker. Lasode worked closely with Nike developers to create a vibrant rainbow mesh upper inspired by her cherished memories of summertime in the city, including her first date at Primrose Hill. To complete the design, Lasode incorporated '97P' racing stripes and added the phrase 'Good Chat' on the pull tabs for a finishing touch.
