In July 2016, NikeLab collaborated with Brazilian designer Pedro Laurenco to create a unique version of the Air Max 90. Known as the Pedro Lourenco x Wmns Air Max 90 'Phantom,' this shoe showcases a luxurious creamy leather upper and includes woven fabric details on the tongue and heel. The design also incorporates nubuck overlays that blend seamlessly with a neutral canvas to enhance the toe box and Swoosh branding. A tonal sole unit complements the overall aesthetic. To add a touch of refinement, the shoe is finished with subtle accents of Phantom and Metallic Gold, along with a translucent rubber outsole.
