Originally introduced as a running shoe in 1991, the Air Huarache takes its inspiration from traditional leather sandals. In particular, the 'Blue Jay' version pays homage to the Air Flight Huarache, a basketball sneaker that made its debut the following year. Retaining the OG design, this iteration showcases the iconic violet and blue color scheme, achieved through the use of a violet neoprene inner sleeve and blue leather overlays. To ensure optimal comfort, the shoe features an Air-cushioned midsole.
