The Air Force 1 Low Drop Type 'Pink Tint' is a part of Nike's concept branch N.354, which pays homage to Steve Prefontaine's fastest mile. It was released in July 2019 and features a deconstructed design. The tongue of the shoe is cut away to reveal soft foam padding, and the interior stitch taping and engineered mesh also adopt an inside-out treatment. Notably, this version includes an adjustable strap around the heel, a notable upgrade from the original 1982 classic designed by Bruce Kilgore. However, the shoe still retains its perforated toe box and rubber traction for optimal performance.
