Nike collaborated with street fashion clothing company, VLONE, in 2017 to create the Vlone x Air Force 1 High Sample edition, which re-interpreted the iconic Air Force 1 High design. This version stands out with its captivating black and University Gold colorway, while adding some renewed elements, such as gothic calligraphy embroidery on the ankle straps that bears the phrase ‘Every Living Creative Dies Alone.’ Paying tribute to the collaborator, a letter ‘V’ is prominently showcased on the heel. Additionally, the shoe retains the signature Swoosh logo and features breathable perforations on the toe box to enhance comfort.
