It gained recognition for its memorable on-court appearance by Kobe Bryant during the 2003 NBA playoffs when he executed an incredible dunk. A highly sought-after sneaker, the Air Jordan 8 'Chrome' was later re-released in 2015 as part of Nike's Holiday 2015 collection, alongside two other Air Jordan 8 colorways, namely the OG 'Aqua' and 'Three Times A Charm'. Its design boasts a stylish all-black upper made from smooth and perforated nubuck, with a notable chrome buckle on the strap that gives it its 'Chrome' name.
